The idea for Champagne Electric was born from my own wedding planning experience and from everything I have learnt as a wedding performer and floral designer.
Firstly, I know that Melbourne’s wedding scene is filled to the bring with talent, passion and good vibes. But, I also know that this is most people’s first rodeo - planning a wedding don’t come easy, and it don’t come quickly. It can be really challenging and time-consuming, with all the researching, meetings, and questioning yourself along the way of whether you’re doing it right.
I noticed that the wedding industry could be excessive, temporary and wasteful at times, which made it hard for us to plan a wedding with a low impact on the world around us. I wished that there was someone I could chat to who was in the know, who had done things before, but who also allowed me to plan my wedding the way I wanted to (and let’s face it, a wedding planner was unfortunately not in the budget).
These thought bubbles led to the creation of Champagne Electric. I wanted to help loved up couples plan weddings easily without having to compromise on what they envisioned or their values.
